Blaine R. "Dick" Giles

One of the most respected facilitators in the industry today, Dick Giles brings to the classroom over 10 years of in-dealership experience.

His uncompromising command of his audience owes much to his 22 years as a U.S. Naval Officer, where for 3 years he commanded a crew of over 500 in a wartime scenario.

With a master's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Dick's ability to transfer knowledge in a forthright and motivating style is matched only by his warmth and understanding of human nature.

Beginning with the "Customer One" project for the (then) Chrysler Corporation in the early nineties, Dick quickly earned the distinct reputation as "The Captain" of cultural change. Dick then continued to work for the factory facilitating in-dealership programs on process change, and mentored district managers in their relationships with dealer principles, GM's, and sales and service personnel.

Along the way, Dick's talents were tapped by J. D. Power & Associates to join their team in providing leading edge training in marketing, reward & retention, consultative selling, coaching & counseling, and finally the innovative website, GM BuyPower.

Since 1997, Dick has been a favorite on the new model introduction stage, adding his special flare to ride and drives for Nissan, Infiniti, Lincoln Mercury, and GM.
